Description:
Title: Java Developer/Cloud Operations
• Ability to take whiteboard requirements and quickly translate them into proof of concept code to refine requirements and design
• Experience in agile software development
• Deep experience in AWS API's and building applications that interface to them. Specifically API's that provide asset/device information and telemetry (cloud-watch)
• Software development experience in Java and with message queue technology
• Experience in building server side, resilient code. Project has minimal requirements for user interface development
• Ability to take whiteboard requirements and quickly translate them into proof of concept code to refine requirements and design
• Experience in agile software development
• Deep experience in VMware API's and building applications that interface to them. Specifically vCenter API and vCloud API to collect asset information and telemetry
• Experience interfacing to operations platforms such as ScienceLogic Em7, vCOPS etc
• Experience in delivering messages via queuing technology over the internet and hardening code for internet delivery
• Experience in building tools to provide remote customer support over the internet
• Software development experience in Java and with message queue technology
• Experience in building server side, resilient code. Project has minimal requirements for user interface development
