Our client currently has an overwhelming number of leads and as a result of this and their continued expansion we are seeking a proven and successful sales closer with experience selling offerings in the realm of cloud, virtualization/VDI, and other related technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, Network File System, storage, etc. for this exciting opportunity:
Position title: Account Executive
Location: Bay area, CA., Seattle, WA., or Phoenix, AZ
Position description:
In this role the Account Executive will focus on selling company offerings to customers in a geographic regional territory and be responsible for driving revenue and working with both vendor(Amazon Web Services and Azure) and channel partners to achieve sales goals. Responsibilities will include working and strategizing with executive management to execute a sales plan, work with the inside sales team to follow-up and qualify leads , forecast sales opportunities and maintain accurate opportunity details, recruit and develop a strong network of channel partners in the region ad to drive business through strategic partners and alliances, and represent the company at industry events.
Required skills and experience:
•5-7+ years of field-based software sales experience in the enterprise account market with experience also developing effective channel and alliance partnerships
•Experience and knowledge of datacenter infrastructure hardware and software in addition to an overall understanding of the cloud, virtualization/VDI, and other related technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, Network File System, storage, etc.
•Some level of technical aptitude for solution sales effectiveness along with ability to demonstrate solution ROI and value proposition effectively
•Strong selling and closing skills with a proven track record of exceeding quotas
•Strong ability to qualify opportunities and to multi-task and execute on multiple opportunities
•Entrepreneurial, self- motivated, goal oriented. Prior experience working in a start-up environment a huge plus
•Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
•Ability to travel through region as required
•Bachelor's Degree
