MARKETING DIGITIZATION PROGRAM LEAD
The Sage Group is seeking a Marketing Digitization Program Lead for Financial Services client in San Francisco to effectively organize and manage lean cross-work stream through complex LOB transformation and in alignment with Marketing Centers of Excellence. Support ongoing efforts to progress the strategic agenda (i.e., business case refinement, program governance, strategic communications and socialization, strategic planning and prioritization, financial forecasting and planning).
Experience Needed
Deep experience leading large-scale programs at the LOB and Enterprise levels
Extensive knowledge and experience of Financial Services, Digital Marketing, and strategic program leadership best practices, including active engagements in multiple largescale digital marketing transformations
Best practices and techniques to lead and operate large-scale programs in an efficient manner
15+ years Financial Services experience and direct experience and best practices in structuring, leading, and executing upon large-scale, strategic initiatives
Roles and ResponsibilitiesMarketing Digitization PMO Leadership
Drive Marketing Digitization Leadership and core stakeholders in activities that may include the following:
- Prepare for key activities/meetings such as: Initiative Leadership meetings, Initiative Funding
Request Process, Marketing Digitization and digitizing the Enterprise Steering Committees
- Build effective partnerships with stakeholders throughout Marketing Digitization initiative and across organization to drive cross-program collaboration and alignment
Facilitate and participate in strategic planning and program management sessions
Serve as primary strategic point of contact for Marketing Digitization PMO
Planning for, facilitation of relevant discussion, and creation of relevant presentations and documentation that may address the following:
Management of funding recommendations and expense forecasting/tracking to support the overall initiative ongoing budgeting and operational planning process
Key meetings and response to ongoing and ad hoc requests from stakeholders that may include: Digitizing the Enterprise (DTE) Leadership, Marketing Leadership or other key audiences
Definition, socialization, and documentation of tactical planning and implementation for Marketing Digitization capability work streams
Execution of cross program roadmap and implementation plans
Creation, refinement, socialization, and/or management of the key program organization documentation 1
Program organizational chart and visual timeline
- Integrated cross-work stream program timelines
Best practice initiative templates (e.g., capability briefs, stand up agendas)
- Cadence for risk/issue escalation
- Cadence for strategic communications
Identification and tracking of dependencies across the program
Marketing Digitization Program Strategy
Refinement of multi-year strategic roadmap for Marketing Digitization, as needed
Provide relevant experience, strategic guidance and leadership support to partner with a cross-functional team to execute on specified Marketing Digitization Strategy efforts, that may include:
Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Engagement – Define and drive consistent and comprehensive messaging and support for the Marketing Digitization across the organization to address numerous named and de facto stakeholders and participants. Lead definition, socialization, and documentation of approach for Marketing Digitization and business capability work streams.
Enterprise Alignment and Governance – Identification of Marketing Digitization alignment opportunities across the enterprise and identification and implementation of Program governance model with Marketing and LOB and line of business partners to raise awareness of the enterprise program and direction
Partnerships – Identification, analysis, and management of 3rd party partnership opportunities and relationships that merit potential integration with the Marketing Digitization program
Metrics – Define metrics and create the ability to measure and monitor key metrics that allow management to (1) inform business case and (2) gage progress toward stated goals of Marketing Digitization and Digitizing the Enterprise
General Initiative Strategy - Planning for and facilitation of key strategic discussions and planning sessions at the Marketing Digitization program level and business capability work streams.
Timing: Start ASAP
Duration: 6 - 9 Month Contract, with possibility to extend longer
