We are looking for Product Manager for a global enterprise storage solutions company in San Jose, CA.
The Product Manager will be responsible for development of business cases, MRD, PRD, roadmap planning, and working with the engineering team for early product lifecycle approvals.
This is a 40 hours per week; 6 month contract to perm role onsite in San Jose, CA. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
• Understand customer needs, competitive landscape, market trends, and other factors to develop compelling business cases
• Engage other functional organizations internally to synthesize ideas on the strategy, planning, and execution of next-generation products
• Develop business cases/feasibility studies and MRDs for next generation product offerings
• Develop PRDs, defining and prioritizing system level feature sets
• Collaborate with team on product roadmap planning
• Effectively communicate requirements to engineering and all the stakeholders.
• Drive effective cross-functional collaboration with engineering, marketing and sales.
• Work with marketing to develop the go-to-market strategy, helping all to understand product positioning, key benefits, and target customer needs.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of enterprise storage systems Product Management experience
• Enterprise storage technology knowledge, at a systems level
• Knowledge of flash technologies
• Proven, writing skills and communication skills
• Strong presenter of ideas and business case analysis
• Bachelors in a technical field, ideally computer science or engineering
• Preferred, MBA
