Job Description

The Sage Group is looking for a senior marketing leader to work with our client, the world leader in visual computer technologies. This is a unique opportunity to shape the marketing plan for the newest and strategically important piece of our client's impressive portfolio, a set-top Android-powered console which allows users to use applications and games on their TV. The interim Director of Marketing will be responsible for building brand strategy and driving world-wide integrated marketing communication for a key gaming product. In this role, you will be working in partnership with the BU, Corporate Marketing, PR, Regional marketing teams, Sales, and external partners to achieve brand building and revenue goals. The successful candidate must be a highly driven and experienced marketing professional with a track record of driving high impact brand growth for new and/or established consumer brands. The candidate must also have a strong mastery of key communications disciplines including PR and all core digital marketing capabilities.

Responsibilities Include:

Drive brand strategy and flawlessly execute global strategic marketing campaigns to meet / exceed goals.

Strong understanding and leverage of consumer, category and competitive insights and marketing analytics to drive marketing strategy

Define campaign objectives, target audiences, strategies/tactics, and creative working in partnership with the Business Unit and securing secure executive / support.

Lead cross-functional teams to execute flawlessly.

Lead the expanding Global NVIDIA Shield brand team (which comprises brand, social and PR leads) and set direction for a high performing team of Regional Marketing leaders



Skills Required:



Minimum of 12 years strategic marketing management experience in building consumer brands, ideally in the consumer technology and gaming industry (with a strong preference for hardware vs software.)

Prior experience in a lean, start-up environment is preferred.

Strong integrated marketing skillset - digitally savvy with track record of using digital and social effectively to reach goals

History of partnering closely with and managing external agencies

Proven ability to interact with and influence diverse groups within marketing, including cross-functional peers to executive management

Analytical mindset and ability to partner with quant-heavy stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communications

MBA preferred



Start: ASAP

Timing: 40 hrs/week; 3-4 months with potential to convert to FTE for the right candidate

Location: Santa Clara, onsite 100%
