Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide support in functional areas of human resources, with a strong emphasis in benefits administration, on/off-boarding and personnel data integrity. We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to manage HR and benefits systems, facilitate and improve onboarding and employee training, and serve as the HR face of the company to employees and managers. This role reports to the CFO and works out of our Campbell office. Crawford Group is a highly engaged, dedicated company specializing in marketing/communications/events talent. Responsibilities:
Serve as primary HR contact for all employees, Responds to inquiries regarding the organization's processes, policies, procedures, and programs
Coordinates distribution/communication of policies and projects including but not limited to Company Employee Handbook, 401(k), benefits open enrollment, and employee recognition
Assists with administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal/state legal requirements
Maintain accurate data and optimize architecture of HR systems, including HRIS and benefits administration
Manage the hiring process, including conducting background and reference checks, onboarding, orientations
Skills:
1-2 years as a Human Resources generalist. SMB experience a plus.
Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, including FMLA, ADA, EEO
Positive, self-starter with a very strong work ethic
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, high degree of integrity and ability to quickly build trust with employees and colleagues. Must exhibit discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation.
Solid collaboration and team skills
Good judgment and ability to make timely, sound decisions and embark on agreed upon course of action
Detailed oriented and process driven but flexible enough to adjust to change
Good sense of humor and excellent problem solving skills
Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
Demonstrable experience with a cloud based HRIS solution, TriNet or other PEO strongly preferred.
Bachelor's (BA or BS) in Human Resource Management or related field (e.g. Business, Organizational Communication, Industrial Psychology) or equivalent experience.
PHR/SPHR preferred
Salary: D.O.E. as a full time/salaried w2 employee of Crawford Group; includes benefits
Location: Fully onsite at our Campbell, CA office. Local, S.F. Bay Area candidates only; no phone calls please.
Hours/duration: Full time, standard business hours, Monday-Friday.
