They are chucking out crusty old plastic gift cards and replacing them with beautiful and easy to use digital gift cards. They are shaking things up and pushing out innovations, creating huge demand for digital solutions all over the world. They love small business retail and the technologies that empower local retailers to enjoy the benefits of digital gift cards and restore delight to the neighborhood shopping experience.

You're reading this posting because this amazing company is seeking someone entrepreneurial, creative, and independent who can take ownership of their marketing efforts in North America and help them to blast open a fast growing market. If you're this person, you'll be taking an already high performing strategy, putting your spin on it (because you know how the North American market rolls) and executing it to perfection, with the ultimate goal of uber lead generation! The pipeline won't ever look the same once you come along. This position is based out of their HQ office space in San Francisco, but you'll be supported by amazing, high-performance team members from around the world (London, Chicago and Zagreb).

Why does this role exist? It exists to increase the user base, and to grow a number of new and repeated purchases. They want to fill the pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team by owning the strategy and execution of direct and partner marketing programs in North America. You'll also support go-to-market activities with strategic partners like Twitter and Stripe, and increase the market share as well as brand awareness in the region. Phew! That's a mouthful. Nothing you can't handle, right?

ON ANY GIVEN DAY, YOU WOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

• Managing the North America lead generation and brand marketing budget including quarterly forecasting, tracking and actuals

• Delivery, review and execution of quarterly marketing plans to agreed upon budget and targets

• Reporting monthly and quarterly results to CEO

• Optimizing workflows, tools and processes, including sales/marketing stack

• Training and enabling partners and sales teams with scripts, collateral and materials

• Planning, organizing and attending events (partner or direct) and ensure ROI to meet targets

• Collaborating with the Sales Development Reps (SDRs) or interns as required to qualify high volumes of leads from partner or direct lead gen activity

• Establishing and nurturing relationships with key strategic, product or reseller partners

IF YOU ARE the TOP CANDIDATE, THEN HOPEFULLY WHAT'S WRITTEN BELOW SOUNDS LIKE YOU (IN A RIDICULOUSLY UNCANNY KIND OF WAY):

• You're resourceful, independent as can be, and enjoy working and learning at a swifter than normally acceptable pace

• Strong, but we mean very STRONG background in mobile and social media marketing.

• Your creative mind has no limits .You consistently color outside the lines because that's where all the fun stuff happens

• A strategic ability to see the bigger picture through the trees, and no qualms with taking leadership roles when necessary to step up and rally around an initiative

• Great communication skills, no - we mean it. Like, GREAT.

• Besides a nit-picky kind of attention to detail, you're super duper well organized and even have the knack of knowing how to guide and organize others

• Your have the ability to stay calm under pressure.

• A sense of humor. Seriously!!

BUT IN ALL FAIRNESS, THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A FEW BASICS ON YOUR RESUME:

• Minimum 7 years in mobile, social media marketing and sales experience

• Strong understanding of outbound sales process and methodology

• Experience of building and managing high-velocity B2B lead generation programs

• Deep understanding of the full marketing sales customer lifecycle from demand to lead to opportunity to #winning

• Experience with marketing tools and technology (Marketo, Salesforce, Intercom, Google Analytics)

If you have the ambition, the creativity and the desire to be on the cutting edge of this new technology, please send resume to:
