Technology Support Coordinator

Our financial services client in Santa Clara, CA has an urgent need for a Technology Support Coordinator to join their team. This person will ensure that key marketing content is refreshed appropriately and made instantly available to client facing employees to prepare for customer interactions, effectively engage with their audience, and advance sales opportunities to close. The Content Coordinator must be quick and resourceful in juggling multiple demands in a complex environment. Enabling the success of the content consumers must always be the Content Coordinator's primary concern. The ideal fit for this role will be a people person with a passion for technology and strong communication skills.

Job Description

The Sage Group is seeking an experienced content professional to join the Enterprise Content Management team of our financial client in Silicon Valley. This person will be responsible for coordinating the updating of content across various publishing platforms.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience using established methodologies to manage content effectively. Additionally, the candidate must be results-oriented, client focused, have strong written and verbal communication skills along with a track record of driving results. This person will tightly align content and processes with the users of content and ensure that our Sales Enablement tools meet the needs of our salesforce.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work with assigned business areas and partner closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate and deploy content designed to drive employee awareness and understanding of our client's full suite of products, sales practices and internal processes

Coordinate solutions to support sales and client services teams who must be able to readily discover and use content

Publish, develop and maintain a wide range of materials on a variety of intranet, collaboration and specialty sites

Proactively work with key stakeholders to help them identify opportunities to improve user experience

Act as a liaison to site content managers to foster and support adoption of common best practices for enterprise content management

Work with Content Manager to execute content projects including requirements gathering, solution assessment, solution development and user training

Troubleshoot content related issues from various users

Must be comfortable with direct communication with all business and development staff

Partner with more senior colleagues in meeting our content objectives

Ensure that system documents are properly maintained

Find inconsistencies or errors and repair them

Track and report key metrics as defined by manager

Support organization's mission and culture

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

A minimum of 2+ years experience with content management of product marketing or product training or related business content

Experience in design, development, deployment and maintenance of content

Extensive experience with MS Office, especially MS Word, including templates, style sheets and collaboration features

Experience with basic functions in Excel

Experience with SharePoint 2010 a plus

Team player

A roll-up-your-sleeves and can-do attitude is a must

Project Length: 9-12 Months
