The role requires a self-starter work ethic and innate curiosity to identify prospects' obstacles to success and recommend solutions from Marketing Operations Partners.<br /><br /> The Ideal Candidate<br /><br /> A strong background in B2B business development and sales to marketing executives and the C-team<br /><br /> Formal training and 7+ years in consultative solution-selling of consulting or subscription offerings (sales & marketing automation preferred)<br /><br /> Network of executives in midsize and large companies<br /><br /> Ability to turn complex needs into achievable solutions<br /><br /> Self-motivation to initiate and follow up on cold and warm prospects and opportunities<br /><br /> Ability to discover leads, consult and close on deals, and retain and expand relationships for repeat sales<br /><br /> Responsibilities:<br /><br /> Assist in developing and implementing strategic business initiatives:<br /><br /> Generate new business through networking: indirect and direct contact<br /><br /> Open, track and close opportunities within target markets<br /><br /> Meet quarterly revenue and margin targets<br /><br /> Meet with team leaders to develop sales plans<br /><br /> Develop, initiate and drive strategy and tactics for a given prospect, client or opportunity:<br /><br /> Deliver solution options in presentation, proposal and other formats<br /><br /> Properly manage prospects' and clients' expectations<br /><br /> Develop proposals addressing prospects' needs<br /><br /> Turn complex needs into achievable solutions<br /><br /> Identify and navigate the prospect's buying processes<br /><br /> Develop yourself as a leader in marketing & sales operations business development by leveraging alliances and outside teams to uncover and gain sales opportunities<br /><br /> This position is designed for uncapped potential, transitioning to a full-time role after proven success.
