Our start up technology client based in San Mateo, CA is seeking a full time Partner Marketing Manager. The Partner Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, executing and measuring channel-specific marketing plans and lead-generation programs for a rapidly-growing number of channel partners with the goal of increasing sales. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this new position will manage all aspects of joint partner programs spanning events, online programs, co-marketing campaigns, and follow-up actions for these activities. In addition, this role will manage and create partner sales enablement tools, partner communications, and partner training events, and lead the process in developing and managing the partner portal.

The Partner Marketing Manager will need to work closely with internal stakeholders including Sales, to understand the needs, define priorities, develop and execute channel marketing programs and processes as needed to support our channel base.

The ideal candidate is capable of creating and driving partner and demand generation strategy as well as managing hands on execution of a variety of programs, including administering the partner portal, managing the MDF and channel budget, building channel programs/campaigns, and measuring the effectiveness of channel program and lead gen campaigns. Manager who is fascinated with emerging technologies and energized by the idea of creating channel/demand programs from the ground up and delivering results. Responsibilities:

Align channel marketing strategies with corporate marketing strategies and work closely with marketing team to ensure a balanced marketing effort with proper emphasis on the channel

Work with Marketing and Sales teams to develop a channel marketing plan with emphasis on lead/demand generation programs and campaigns. Define metrics and KPIs, analyze results, prepare and present reports on a regular basis that tracks activities and ROI

Responsible for channel partner on-boarding process including managing and tracking executed agreements or contracts, distributing Welcome Kit, and updating account/contacts in Salesforce.com

Develop and manage partner recruiting campaigns, communication programs, including a quarterly live webinar

Manage channel partner systems: Deal registration processes and online portal

Maintain channel marketing calendar, and specific regional partner activities

Schedule/coordinate partner sales and technical sales training events

Work closely with the Marketing team to launch new products into the channel, and maximize corporate tradeshow investments by developing cross promotional programs and events with partners

Integrate channel partners into the company's social media strategy, develop cross promotional opportunities with partners using all social media channels

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand project priorities and channel partner expectations

Work closely with the marketing team to manage the MDF and channel marketing budgets

Skills:

5+ years' channel/partner marketing experience in the high technology sector. Cloud or storage knowledge and/or emerging technology background preferred.

Understanding of a broad range of partner marketing activities and disciplines; ability to create and deliver a wide variety of marketing assets targeting the channel

Startup experience building out a channel marketing program and implementing a channel partner portal strongly preferred. Understanding of the Systems Integrator (SI) layer of the channel a plus.

Solid lead/demand generation program/campaign experience required. Must be a power Marketo and Salesforce.com user, with emphasis on reporting and analytics.

Must be able to effectively communicate and work with individuals at all levels within the organization

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and responsibilities and be a strong team player

Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar, or an equivalent combination of higher education plus work experience

SALARY: D.O.E; as full time, salaried employee of client

LOCATION: Fully onsite at clients' San Mateo headquarters

HOURS/DURATION: Standard business hours, PST. ASAP – full time employment. No phone calls, please
