| In this position, the individual will lead the Marketing group in SAS, directing the development of company marketing programs associated with new product launches, evangelism efforts and other cutting-edge activities. The individual will be responsible for assessment of existing and potential markets, development of marketing strategies and tactics, definition of promotional activities, oversight of marketing and messaging design and campaigns, and other traditional marketing activities. Activities may include technical sales support; product advertising/promotion; planning, developing, and implementing multiple channel programs; and directing the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s). Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. The individual will lead a senior and experienced group of marketing professionals in the Software and Solutions group of the company, which focuses on innovation and new products. This position requires MS/MBA/MA degree or equivalent with 10 or more years of related experience. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of division/business unit strategic objectives and goals. Excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and limited resource environment. Dynamic, motivated, and results oriented creative thinker.
