Our Licensing Division is currently looking for a Business Development Manager who can manage outbound licensing activities which include:
• Prospecting, negotiating and closing new licensing opportunities
• Managing, creating and closing licensing contracts in conjunction with Legal Department
• Building relationships with existing and new licensees
• Focusing on Japan and/or Asia territories
• Generating continuous business analysis and feedback for Licensing
• Developing, maintaining and presenting detail account planning
• Contributing to the development and deployment of Division strategy
• Conducting competition and market analysis
Position Requirements include:
• Must demonstrate broad knowledge of the Semiconductor IP industry
• Must have background, experience and cultural understanding for selling high-tech products in Asia/Japan
• Must understand flash technology and other non-volatile memory technologies or exhibit the aptitude and desire to learn the intricacies of the technology
• Must understand embedded flash market segment and customer base
• BSEE minimum, MSEE or MBA preferred with 5+ years experience in business development or marketing
• Ability to manage multiple customers and programs in the technology sector
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Fluent in English and Mandarin and/or Japanese
• In depth knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Required travel - 30%
