Title: Internal Communications Manager
Location: San Jose, CA
Contract: 3+months (renewed quarterly)

Candidate shall report to Cisco's Executive & Internal Communications organization, and provide internal communications consultation, planning, execution, and measurement services for Sales Acquisition Integration projects. The services are part of the communications team´s support model, and include the following phases:
1. Ramp Up: learn support model, scope, and key resources.

2. Analysis & Scoping: assess communication needs, stakeholders & target audience(s); confirm support scope.

3. Create Communications Plan & Get Approval: build plan that addresses needs that were identified in the Analysis & Scoping phase; Present to program sponsor/manager for approval.

4. Execute Communication Plan, Deliverables & Processes: share approved plan with all stakeholders; Update Event & Communications calendar with program dates (weekly); Report metrics; Execute deliverables (internal communications & dependent processes), including:
" Communications for announce, close, and interim comms (between announce & close), and post announce comms for Sales
" Communicate availability of acquisition resources (playbooks, customer facing decks, FAQs, etc.)
" Create comms strategy for acquisition-specific information, such as order pricing or other information where detailed and specific communications are required
" Work as the sales comms representative with broader Acquisition Integration change and comms team.

5. Collaborate : participate in team projects and share best practices from program communication experience. Ciscos team will work in conjunction with the consultant on this assignment. Some of the key responsibilities of Ciscos team are:
1. Tools/Software License: Cisco will provide all the necessary software/tools required for execution of activities as part of this SOW
2. Providing information/resources for Ramp Up phase
3. Addressing/escalating issues that arise during program support.

Preferred Background: 8+ years internal communications management, S&A experience, Cisco experience, global experience, and strong writing, collaboration/relationship, and organizational skills.
