Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced thermal & acoustical technology research from component to room level
  • Provide innovative thermal cooling solutions and architectural designs for the next generation telecom and computing products
  • Perform conceptual designs and feasibility studies
  • Coordinate with other departments, project managers, and clients to complete studies, review designs, and solve problems
  • Formulate and execute plans to meet technical requirements, schedules, and contract commitments

Qualifications Required

  • MS or PhD in mechanical engineering and ample relevant thermal and/or acoustic work experience
  • Excellent knowledge of heat/mass transfer, fluid dynamics and CFD, with a focus on electronic cooling
  • Hands-on electronics industry experience, including thermal management at component, board, system, and room level
  • Experience in system thermal architecture design for electronic products
  • Experience in application research, evaluation, and selection of air movers, heat sinks, and thermal interface materials
  • Proficiency in thermal analysis tools (Flotherm, IcePak, Ansys) and ability to perform complex thermal analysis to guide design
  • Proficiency in the telecom environmental standards (NEBS, ETSI, ATIS) to assure design conformity with the worldwide compliance requirements
  • Experience in testing methodologies and DAQ tools (LabVIEW) for temperature, flow, pressure, and acoustic measurements

 

Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Mandarin is a big plus, <5% travel.

 

Preferred skills

  • Extensive direct thermal and/or acoustic design experience in telecom and server industry
  • Extensive experience in advanced thermal management and in-depth understanding of thermal industry trends and standards
  • Experience in liquid cooling, system engineering, and TCO
  • Experience in mechanical design and design tools (ProE, Solildworks, Ansys, or similar)
  • Strong problem solving and leadership skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Storage Solutions Marketing Mgr

We are looking for a seasoned Solutions Marketing Mgr consultant for a project opportunity at a fast growing, start up Enterprise Storage Solutions company. The project would include the following tasks: Sales tools development, datasheets & solution briefs creation, blog entries, etc.

This is a 3 month, 40 hr per week role onsite at the client's offices in Mountain View, CA. Project renewals are likely. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.

Responsibilities:
•Understand client storage solutions, markets, competitors and differentiators
•Develop marketing materials such as data sheets, solution briefs, whitepapers, blogs, channel sales tools, etc.

Requirements:
o 5 to 10 years experience in Storage Product/Solutions Marketing
o In-depth understanding of enterprise storage solutions, technologies and market
o Excellent writing skills; demonstrated success at creating relevant and compelling marketing materials
o Ability to translate technical features and capabilities into customer benefits
o Ability to work in a fast moving and dynamic work environment
o Bachelor's Degree

We are looking for a Channel Strategy and Marketing Manager for a new security software start up in Palo Alto, CA. This contract to perm role will be responsible for defining the channel strategy for a new document security solution targeted at professional services industry and healthcare.

Upon strategy definition, the channel marketing manager will be responsible for driving sales through the channels. This will include marketing materials creation, demand generation programs, and working with channel partners.

This is a part time, 20 hours per week role onsite at the client's offices in Palo Alto, CA (but one does not need to be in the office each day) for a 2 to 3 month period, with conversion to perm likely.

This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.

Responsibilities:
• Develop channel strategy for new security software solution
• Develop marketing materials to drive demand and channel sales
• Create demand generation programs
• Responsible for all marketing efforts in the company

Requirements:
• 5 - 10 years related experience in channel strategy and marketing.
• Understanding of high tech enterprise solutions channels and their needs.
• Understanding of security solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, high-output, multi-tasking environment.
• Ability to develop innovative communications programs, in a B2B high technology environment.
