The Sage group is looking for a Senior Manager of Online Marketing/Customer Acquisition for an early stage company on the Peninsula that has developed technology to put intelligence into mobile devices - solving the need for more flexible and smarter mobile services. This individual will work cross-functionally with ecommerce, marketing, operations, and customer services teams to ensure that the brand is accurately and consistently represented online. This role reports directly to the Head of Ecommerce.
Responsibilities Include
- Build, grow, and optimize online marketing programs (SEM, Affiliate, SEO, social display, mobile, and others) to acquire new customers, increase retention of current subscribers, and drive profitable sales.
- Manage online marketing programs on a day-to-day basis including execution, optimization, and reporting.
- Evaluate and recommend new online marketing opportunities and technologies.
- Optimize and develop SEM/SEO landing pages with in-house creative team – prior SEM experience is a plus.
- Implement website CMS modifications and enhancements for keywords, metatitles, etc.
- Use Google Analytics and other technologies to perform site analytics and reporting activities to measure campaign effectiveness; make data driven recommendations for site improvements and optimization.
Skills Required
- 5+ years of proven experience building high ROI online marketing programs
- Prior experience with SEM, SEO, affiliate marketing, paid social media, display and mobile advertising
- Understanding of ecommerce technology including web analytics, ad tracking, A/B testing, and tag management
- A natural curiosity about what drives conversions
- Creative and analytical mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- An interest in mobile, telecom, and/or retail
- Working knowledge of HTML
