The Sage Group is seeking a Reporting/BI Project Manager to work for a large multinational company that is a leading innovator and designer of consumer electronics and software products in Cupertino, CA. This person will work within the Sales reporting program to help deliver fast and agile reporting solutions across multiple business units.
Responsibilities Include
- Work closely with the sales and sales operation business teams to become a functional expert in key sales processes and related reporting needs.
- Manage multiple projects of varying scale and complexity.
- Manage data acquisition and reporting projects (BO, Dashboards, Tableau) either using agile or waterfall style.
- Define and finalize business requirements and deliverables.
- Engage with IT reporting team to facilitate reporting design, development, testing, and integration.
- Act as liaison between the business and technology to ensure business needs are met with technology solutions.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis, and define contingency plans to stakeholders.
- Create business scenarios to conduct end-to-end testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Domestic and international travel required once or twice a quarter.
Skills Required
- 3-5 years of BA/PM with a high tech company working on data and reporting projects
- Deep knowledge of business intelligence technologies, reporting technologies, relational databases, data warehouse platforms, concepts, and tools
- Experience in PMO, defining shared services frameworks, and creating BICC
- Strong understanding of sales and sales operation processes in a channel environment
- Experience with business intelligence tools and expertise with Business Objects and Tableau
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Keynote Travel
- Customer oriented with strong communication and analytical skills
- PMI/PMP certification
