Title: Global Social Media Program Manager/Consultant
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6 mos+ (renewable per quarter)
Experis has an urgent position for a Social Media Program Manager position for a long term assignment in San Jose. He/she will direct social strategy and execution across a range of thought leadership marketing programs. The ideal consultant is experienced at integrating social campaigns into larger marketing programs to drive awareness and engagement. The role requires a team player who has the confidence to take lead on projects and work holistically in a large corporate environment.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Identify and create opportunities for social activations, develop execution plans, and manage roll-out and optimization.
- Work with and direct multiple external agencies on the following:
- Asset creation, including infographics, videos, interactive widgets, social whitepapers, blogs, etc.
- Social property and community management, including social copy development
- Social listening and measurement
- SME event & blog programs
- Work with social media team to place content on social media sites
- Distribute content to stakeholders who can amplify content in social media
- Track results of content performance, analyze which content is most successful, create and distribute reports
Skills:
- At least five years experience in technology marketing with two years social media experience.
- Baseline knowledge and understanding of social media for business-to-business companies
- Strong writing, editorial and project management skills
- Experience managing third-party agencies
- Fundamental understanding of brand campaigns
- Ability to work across fast-paced groups on vast array of projects simultaneously
- Good analytical skills: ability to look at metrics and assess performance
- Generating and presenting social media reporting and analytics
- Ability to communicate professionally with high-level clients, in both verbal and written formats
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or similar
