The Sage Group is looking for a Program Director to work for a leading Pharmaceutical Distribution company in San Francisco. This individual will play a key role in the successful development and delivery of programs related to their generics product line.

Responsibilities Include
- Be accountable for project commitments, deliverables and desired outcomes, establishing direction and accountability for the project team.

- Create alignment among the team and the product strategy.

- Create, update, maintain and communicate project status, schedule issues, risks and major decisions.

- Prepare for and conduct appropriate reviews of project status, mediating complex customer issues.

- Manage communication at all levels of the organization.

- Organize the project team to ensure effective and timely project implementation and delivery.

- Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors.

Skills Required
- 8+ years of product management experience in a product development environment, preferably within the healthcare industry

- 5+ years managerial experience

- Strong Analytic Skills

- Strong knowledge of product management and the product development life cycle

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Must be flexible, self-motivated, team oriented and able to accept and create change

- Client-facing experience essential

Timing: Perm, 5 days on-site

Start: ASAP

Location: San Francisco, CA
