Title: Data Analyst
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: Long term (quarterly renewal)
Experis is looking for a Data Analyst consultant with 5-7 years of experience who will provide expertise to acquire, manage, manipulate and analyze data and report results.
Responsibilities:
Daily Operations
- Identify, analyze and interpret Company´s Sales documents and relate and categorize them to Company´s products and services.
- Identify problematic areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct the data, if required by contacting the right Sales and Marketing SMEs.
Data Capture
- In collaboration with others, develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
- Perform data entry, either manually or automatically when needed or required
Data Reporting
- In collaboration with others, interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings
- Prepare trend reporting on large data set
Knowledge/Skills
- Good understanding of Solutions, products, services and sales process
- Ability to work with databases including Graph database is a plus
- Technical expertise regarding data models and ontology
- Proficient in MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in data mining techniques and procedures and knowing when their use is appropriate
- Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
- Ability to abstract text content in context of business domains
- Ability to tag content
- QA role for Metadata Service
