The Sage Group is seeking a Marketing Database Manager to work for a leading virtualization software company on the Peninsula. This person will be responsible for the creation and development of a database marketing framework and strategy to support segment marketing objectives and overall marketing database health.
Responsibilities Include:
- Strategize and implement the database marketing framework and processes to continually assess and improve the database by implementing the latest database marketing techniques.
- Identify and establish database KPIs and dashboards to measure the effectiveness of the overall database strategy, including overall database health, data initiatives, and a measurable lift in ROI directly related to the improved data coverage and quality.
- Monitor the effectiveness of data initiatives, database coverage, size, and growth trends.
- Collaborate with team members across all segments of the Americas Marketing organization to understand segment needs and ensure alignment with segment goals.
- Work cross-functionally with global marketing operations, sales operations, and 3rd party data vendors in order to ensure an end-to-end strategy in alignment with the different teams.
Skills Required:
-5+ years of database marketing experience with proven track record of developing and executing successful database strategies for large B2B companies
- Ability to understand and think through critical business objectives to develop a database strategy and execution plan
- Deep understanding of B2B market segmentation strategies
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) and other business intelligence (BI) reporting
- Familiarity with SalesForce and Eloqua
