Client is looking to hire a Java Websphere developer
- 5+ years of experience designing and building applications, with a minimum of four years in Standard Java & J2EE application systems architecture (WebSphere Application Server knowledge a plus)
- Strong experience with object-oriented software development methodologies and practices including Agile & J2EE design patterns & UML.
- Strong written and verbal skills. Must be comfortable communicating with various levels of management.
- Significant experience (3+ years) with J2EE and related technologies including: SPRING, Struts, WebWork (Servlets, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, JNDI), Linux (Z/Linux a plus)
- Strong experience with relational databases and SQL (DB2 for z/OS a plus)
- Exposure to SOA concepts and technologies (WebSphere Process Server and SCA components a plus)
- JMS and/or WebSphere MQ
