Location - Grand Prairie – near Dallas–Fort Worth Grand Prairie is a city in Dallas, Ellis, and Tarrant counties in the U.S. state of Texas and is a part of the Mid-Cities region in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex
The successful candidate for this important HR Business Partner role will support multiple disciplines within the Technical Operations and Applied Research (TOAR) organization in all relevant business initiatives. They will work closely with Functional TOAR directors and managers in Grand Prairie TX, Orlando FL and other locations to develop strategies and deliver HR initiatives and processes such as Talent Management, Salary Planning, Performance Management, promotion planning, and rewards recognition, enabling client groups to meet their business objectives.
This person will engage resources from HR Centers of Excellence as well as other functions, proactively identify resources, analyze data, formulate actionable recommendations/options and/or propose effective solutions to drive HR and business initiatives to closure on deliverables. He/she will work closely with employees at all levels to confidentially address concerns, and provide support to functional managers on a daily basis to address employee relations and organizational issues.
Through application of systems thinking, this HRBP will identify opportunities to engage with leadership on strategic initiatives, demonstrate Human Resources added value, and ensure commitments to corporate initiatives are met.
-At least 5 years of experience applying HR functional skills in multiple disciplines
-Solid employment and labor law knowledge
-Experience in employee relations
-Track record of success as demonstrated by strong performance in prior related assignments
-Competency in LMPeople and related systems
-Demonstrated experience in prioritizing and managing complex tasks
-Knowledge of relevant corporate policies and other command media
-Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
-Ability to operate independently, yet collaborate as an effective team member
-Demonstrated influencing, coaching and relationship building skills
-Ability to operate with a high degree of integrity, urgency and confidentiality in challenging situations
-Ability to travel as needed in support of client requirements
-HRLDP Graduate
-Advanced degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or other related discipline
-PHR/SPHR Certification
-Experience in talent assessment, organization design, organization effectiveness and leadership development
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education,
with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
