Marketing Associate
Do you want to gain experience working in an emerging industry that connects businesses to sustainable sourcing solutions and a green supply chain?
The MindClick Global Sustainability Index (MCGSI) is a scorecard for the global supply chain. We rate supplier contributions to improving the environmental footprint of their customers and publish the results for large brands looking for sustainable sourcing solutions.
Large Fortune 500 Companies use our Index to source suppliers who help reduce energy, waste, and water to improve customer health and wellbeing. Our Index is both a platform for vendor compliance and reporting, and a marketplace for supply chain solutions that reduce costs and increase revenues. Our current focus is in the hospitality industry, and we plan to expand to other industries in 2014.
We are looking for a full-time Marketing Associate to implement the marketing programs and communications initiatives for Mindclick Global and the Index. Area of focus includes coordinating marketing campaigns, events, outreach, and customer satisfaction programs. We are looking for a self-starter who can help drive adoption of the Index in hospitality, and help as as we expand across other industries.
Responsibilities include:
• Manage and coordinate marketing campaigns, projects and event presence
• Help manage our relationship with outside marketing partners and vendors
• Utilize online tools, analytics and social media to drive success of programs and MCGSI adoption
• Create and update client marketing profiles & presence on the MCGSI
• Responsible for writing articles for our weekly briefings, and potentially in hospitality or sustainability trade publications
• Assist in the development of an editorial calendar to include messages and content for publications, websites, events, other media outlets and external sales & marketing campaigns
• Writing Press Releases for MCGSI
• Day-to-day project management of various communications initiatives.
Qualifications:
• PR and/or Marketing Agency experience preferred
• Can collaborate and manage outside vendors and relationships
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Superior project management skills
• Can both delegate, manage and execute on initiatives both big and small
• Comfortable speaking with clients and partners
• Proficient in MS Office suite, intermediate word and powerpoint necessary
• Ability to develop project plans & timelines
• Experience using on-line communications and social media
• Technology and website savvy
• Quick learner, willingness to take on any task (e.g. research, note taking, whatever is needed)
• Able to work in a very fast paced environment
• Solid work ethic, positive can-do attitude, high standard of professionalism, superb people skills
Timeframe and Compensation: This is a full-time position. Start date in December, 2013
