The Sage Group is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to work for a leading financial services software company on the Peninsula. This person will work to tap into our client's natural marketplace, leveraging data and assets and partner closely with third parties in the space to provide new financing solutions to small business looking to grow their business. The ideal candidate has a passion for innovation, an entrepreneurial "can do" spirit, a bias for solving customer needs first, an ability to collaborate across multiple functions, and the tenacity to stay focused on driving business results.
Responsibilities Include:
• Manage and implement end to end programs to drive demand and increase conversion of Financing prospects.
• Develop customer insights to uncover attitudes & behaviors towards Financing, turning insights into actionable marketing tests.
• Actively analyze and leverage business data to recommend strategies and tactics for your marketing initiatives. Maintain bias towards using data insights to continually test and iterate efforts.
• Monitor marketing program performance with full understanding of root cause; define critical priorities and opportunities to improve.
• Effectively partner with broad array of cross-functional and channel teams to drive successful project execution. Drive necessary operating mechanisms to gain shared vision with partners on goals, priorities, actions, etc.
• Drive business results! We're looking for someone with a track record of successfully driving business results in a rapid test/learn/test environment in new products and service businesses, and one who is comfortable driving decisions in ambiguous situations.
Qualifications
• At least 5 years of marketing experience in Direct Response, SEM, SEO, creative/messaging development, branding, and go-to-market planning/execution.
• Unyielding focus on leading with "the customer" first, commitment to delighting customers at every touch point with Intuit, and bias to act and apply learnings quickly.
• Demonstrated track record of discovering key customers insights and creating innovative plans to overcome purchase/usage barriers and relentless drive to rapidly iterate and continually improve results.
• Exemplary cross-functional collaboration, communication and influencing skills
• Solid analytical skills: able to synthesize a range of quantitative and qualitative information into concrete, actionable market insights and marketing strategies/tactics
• Accountability for results: a clear track record of taking ownership for leveraging analytics, partnering cross-functionally, delighting customers and driving dramatic growth through successful marketing strategies and execution.
• Strategic thinker: the ideal candidate will combine classic strategic marketing skills with experience framing and solving complex problems
• Entrepreneurial attitude…DNA skews to being flexible, unafraid to try the unorthodox, and to demonstrating a passion for innovation. Prior experience in a startup, small business, and/or developing/marketing new products welcomed.
• Experience in Small Business Lending, a start-up environment, or marketing new products a plus
• Bachelor's degree required, with MBA or equivalent preferred
