Communications Manager Consultant
International Consulting Group Marketing (www.icgmarcom.com), located in Silicon Valley, is seeking a well-qualified, and mid-level Communications Manager consultant for our leading Tech 200 client.
The Communications Manager consultant will plan, create, and execute communications to internal and external audiences in support of our client's implementation of a new global services initiative. The internal audience is primarily tech support functions and external audiences are primarily technical customers and partners. The position will report into a strategic communication manager and collaborate across their organization.
Location:
Minimal Onsite at Client HQ/ Maximum Offsite flexible. South Silicon Valley/Home Office.
Compensation:
Depending on experience and market-rate competitive.
Duration:
Part-time, 20 /hours week. Initial project 6 months.
Requirements:
• 6-12 years of technology communications experience, including internal and external communications.
• Strong writing, editing and proof-reading skills. Writing samples required.
• Solid content development, management and delivery abilities.
• Integrated communications expertise including articles, copy blocks, emails, executive blog posts, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations and updates, web page updates, banners, FAQs, social media, etc.
• Ensuring messaging consistency.
• Comfortable with heavy execution across varied digital deliverables.
• Expert with PowerPoint and MS Word.
• Experience with change communications.
• Adept at targeting technical and engineering staff as well as technical partners and customers.
• Proven self starter, independent contributor, and cross-functional team player.
• Experience with professional services, tech support, call center, post-sales, and/or customer loyalty a major plus.
• Working knowledge of web, email, presentations, and Chatter. Familiarity with Camtasia, Eloqua, and field portals a plus.
• BA/BS in Communications, Journalism or Business Administration.
