Summary
We are looking for a talented content creator to write, produce and distribute various types of content to expand our audience and drive thought leadership in our industry. The Content Manager will be responsible for continuing to evolve the voice of the AlterG brand and it's family of products. This role requires a high level of creativity, project management skills, and a data-driven focus. As a critical part of the Marketing team, you'll collaborate with the VP of Marketing to create the company's messaging strategy, work with marketing automation, the sales staff and some external influencers. You'll drive online engagement with AlterG customers, end users, and the rehab and training community.
Sample Projects
• Create and distribute original content about AlterG including email campaigns, website content, blogs, articles, how-to guides, and supporting graphics
• Copy write, edit, ghostwrite, marketing collateral, automation and web content
• Help distribute content generated by marketing team (videos, infographics, media stories, podcasts, photos) across sales team, to customers, social and community channels to maximize engagement and drive brand awareness
• Help drive day-to-day activities of our social media channels including webinar and tradeshow coverage, amplifying news announcements
• Develop and manage a content calendar
• Collaborate with marketing team to plan and execute outbound marketing campaigns
• Analyze and continuously improve content and communication strategy
Necessary skills and experience
• Exceptional writing and copy editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our thought leaders and AlterG for various types of content
• Experience writing on behalf of a company, ghostwriting, and working with internal and external contributors
• A dual-minded approach: You're highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions
• Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts
• Experience in writing for SEO and SEM is a plus
• Bachelor's degree required
• 2-3 years of marketing experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Pardot (or similar marketing automation tool), content management systems, some HTML preferred
• B2B experience in medical device or tech preferred
• Any expertise in physical therapy, physical medicine or athletic training is a big plus.
