Marketing Communications Manager
The global Ultrasound Business Unit (BU) of Siemens Healthcare is looking for an experienced marketing communications management professional with a passion for the healthcare market. This position will report to the Director of Communications within the Marketing and Sales team based in Mountain View, CA.
Utilizing direct staff management experience, the marketing communications manager is responsible for managing a team of skilled marcom program managers to support marketing objectives through the development, implementation and evaluation of global marketing communications plans.
The integrated communication plans include product branding, messaging, events, digital marketing, media planning and collateral creation to support WW marketing and sales teams. Keen leadership and team management expertise, plus project management skills, are required to ensure that the marketing communications are effectively distributed and programs are delivered on-time, within budget, and meet ROI and performance goals.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Effectively manage marcom team in the strategic development and tactical implementation of global integrated product marketing communications plans regionally and globally.
• Leverage and initiate best practices included digital marketing, content marketing and demand generation
• Manage the marketing communication team to design and drive global marketing communications campaigns to meet established marketing objectives. Consistently cascade messaging across targeted internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with regional marketing teams to build and maintain continuous communications with consistent messaging.
• Effectively allocate and manage distribution of assignments within the marketing communications team.
• Analyze communication program results; implement improvements based on insights
• Manage content for editorial program for business units
• Interface with stakeholders and corporate teams to drive promotion of critical assets
• Stay abreast of industry leading communications practices
• Within a complex matrix business environment, utilize exceptional project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
• Some travel is required.

• Demonstrated experience with campaign launches (sales enablement, print and on-line promotion, social media, digital marketing, content marketing, collateral and analysis)
• Strong project manager
• Skilled in operating in compliance with regulatory requirements; familiarity with FDA regulatory requirements a plus
Desired Experience:
• 4+ years direct staff management
• Vendor and partner management
• Global marketing communications
• Budget planning and management
• BA/BS Communications or equivalent
• 8-10+ years of related business experience. Experience in the healthcare field helpful but not required.
