Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Marketing Communications Project Manager for a consulting project at our technology client in Palo Alto, CA. This position is responsible for managing the production of marketing assets that will be used to drive leads for marketing campaigns and programs globally. Successful candidates will have prior experience project managing digital assets and driving review cycles for successful asset creation. The Manager will have the ability to foster positive cross-functional relationships in order to diplomatically influence and effectively set internal client expectations. Must have an interest in driving both the strategic and the tactical elements of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee development and production of the list of content offers that will be used in demand generation marketing campaigns

• Interlock with content from subject matter experts (SMEs) and Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) to scope and source content outlines

• Manage internal review cycles and digital asset management (DAM)

• Provide value-add during reviews for copyediting, branding/graphics compliance and adjustments, and message edit recommendations to subject matter experts

• Build consensus with cross-functional stakeholders and utilize input/feedback/approval flows

• Offer opinions and suggestions on layout, format, readability to help deliver the highest quality assets to meet the target audience requirements

• Manage vendor relationships, production schedules, budget and provide weekly status

• Deliver final files and upload to SharePoint, manage version control and complexities

• Manage the Bill of Materials, content maps and Smartsheet tracking updates

• Contribute to the overall promotional recommendation strategy for the assets to the GEOs

• Partner with Demand Generation Programs team for quarterly brainstorming

Skills:

• 7 - 10+ years' experience in B2B technology marketing roles, with solid experience in marketing communications, content marketing and the content strategy and development for products and solutions

• Proven ability to aggregate content from a variety of sources, craft into compelling deliverables and successfully drive the editorial review and asset creation processes to completion

• Proven success working with SMEs and PMMs who may have competing priorities in marcom messaging

• Can effectively set expectations with diverse stakeholders about the recommended global MarCom campaign approach which will deliver optimal business value

• Comfortable developing solid content flow from existing marketing messages and editing for social media delivery

• Able to articulate and make a case for a compelling content piece, understanding of latest trends in content marketing

• Experience managing external agencies in the creation of deliverables

• Familiarity with branding, design basics to provide art direction to vendors

• Hands on experience using digital asset management (DAM) and CMS tools

• Must be an exceptional project manager, highly organized and detail-oriented

• Collaborative team player, self -starter, problem solver

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint

• Hands on experience with Smartsheet or similar project management collaboration software required

• BA in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar is required

RATE: D.O.E. as a W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available

LOCATION: Onsite daily at client's offices in Palo Alto, CA. No phone calls, please.

HOURS/DURATION: Full time, July 6 – December 15, 2015.
