We are looking for an Events manager for a global storage solutions company in Milpitas, CA. The Events manager will be responsible for the planning, programming and logistics management for major US tradeshows and events. Additionally, the Events manager will provide guidance to the events execution team and the field marketing teams who will manage the onsite presence.
This is a 40 hours per week; 6 month role (extensions likely) onsite in Milpitas, CA. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
• Management of all event planning, deliverables and logistics for major US tradeshows and events
• Work with business owners to establish business goals for each event
• Manage creation of event specific collateral and messaging
• Drive cross functional team meetings; manage project plans
• Budget management; reporting analysis
• Providing on-site logistical and other event support
• Provide guidance to event execution
• Serve as a resource for regional field marketing teams who manage regional events
Requirements:
• 4+ years of corporate event and tradeshow management experience
• Experience with Enterprise Storage or Data Center Infrastructure solutions
• Collaborative, high energy, ability to learn, and extreme attention to detail; flawless execution
• Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
• Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines
• Approximately 5% to 10% travel in the US
