Job Summary

Robert Half is seeking a Revenue Analyst II to join the Revenue Analysis team. The team is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and interpreting all Protiviti contractual agreements prior to implementation in the accounting system to ensure compliance with US GAAP/SEC Standards, RH policy and Protiviti Client Acceptance guidelines.

Specific responsibilities include:



• Review project setup documentation for consulting, loan staff or software projects, including standard and non-standard executed contracts which may include multiple deliverables, to ensure compliance with corporate policies and revenue recognition criteria for Protiviti, Creative Options, Protiviti Government Services, and Robert Half Government business units.

• Work directly with the legal department to determine enforceability of contract documents.

• Collect and evaluate contract change orders or other supporting documents as required to support the revenue recognition and reserve processes.

• Communicate effectively with business partners while relaying complex information into common terms to expedite the project review process. Conversation with business partner includes: stating project setup rejections through workflow and responding to project setup questions during the initial project setup review as well as change order submissions.

• Validate financial transaction requests of intra/inter-business unit inventory transfers and closing adjustments for compliance with Protiviti's revenue recognition policy/approval policy and escalate issues as necessary.

• Monitor and review member firm vendor invoices to ensure compliance with the member firm agreement and assist the field customers with proper handling of contract arrangements.

• Review and analyze manual revenue adjustment requests (project closures up to an approved amount) and prepare management summaries for approval.

• Use system queries to create and maintain reports used to track quarterly revenue trends (i.e. solution, geography, etc), DSO trends, activity in relation to contractual limitations and departmental statistics, including reserves, revenue, and revenue adjustments.

• Support the Quarterly Revenue Recognition Tool analysis of contract limitations to project activity.

• Adhere to policies and procedures for internal audit controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements as specified for position and escalate errors found as necessary.

• Other projects as assigned by Client Accounting management.

• Enter and update the client and project data in the accounting platform (including new clients, new project shell (SIP), full project setup, contract modifications, inventory and closing adjustments, or other project changes) for billable and non-billable projects.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.

• 3+ years' experience in reviewing contractual agreements for financial term a plus.

• Operational accounting or financial analysis experience in a high volume processing environment a plus.

• Experience with ERP systems and technology tools a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills.

• Enterprise-wide applications experience a plus.

• Ability to grasp new systems software/database programs quickly.

• Understand the policies, procedures, organization and controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a strong detail orientation.

• Excellent organization and time management skills and ability to meet stated deadlines.
