Our client needs a VP Marketing that has a passion for the action sports and/or video or film making. This funded startup has been changing the way people view their personal performance and providing a new way to stay on top of the action.
The VP Marketing will be responsible for creating brand recognition within the action sports market. This position will be building the market for this product, traveling as needed to several international locations a few times a year. As part of the go forward plan, a marketing team will be built by this position as the company expands.
A background in sports equipment, sportswear, camera/video, or other related industries are a plus. The ability to discuss technology with non-technical people is a must. Being a visionary for this product is required, as the founders are not local so will be looking to this person to drive how it is being marketed and branded. Prior startup experience is a plus.
