Job Description:
We're looking for a Revenue Services Developer to join our team supporting the growth of Ancestry.com subscriptions through scalable, reliable and secure back end web services.

We develop web services integrating with the Ancestry.com website, commercial commerce platforms and third-party payment processors to configure products, capture and renew customer subscriptions, authorize payments and process refunds. We work as a collocated team practicing Agile/SCRUM.
Key Responsibilities / Performance Requirements:
Develop and improve secure, highly available and reliable web services for recurring online subscription orders and payments.
Coordinate efficiently with multiple teams to define requirements, scope cross-functional effort, plan testing, and manage dependencies.
Use test-driven design (TDD), automated acceptance tests, and good object-oriented principles to create clean code that works. Retrofit tests and apply refactoring to improve existing code.
Develop and improve service health monitoring and analysis tools.
Deploy updated services to production with no interruption to clients.
Required Skills:
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 5+ years industry experience.
C#/.NET, SQL, web services, TDD and mocking frameworks.
Experience running and maintaining a 24x7 web based production environment.
Experience integrating commercial off-the-shelf systems. Previous working experience with at-scale e-commerce platforms a plus.
Experience with system installation, configuration and virtualization.
Familiarity with finance and accounting concepts.
Familiarity with information systems architecture, transaction processing, logging and exception handling, service-oriented architecture, enterprise service bus, message queuing, data modeling and business intelligence a plus.
