Job Summary:
The Senior Marketing Manager leads a broad range of communications and marketing programs that drive THX brand awareness and product value with consumers and partners (CE, Auto, A/V, Cinema, Studios.)
Responsibilities:
• Develop and drive marketing strategy, roadmaps, messaging and go-to-market plans for products including Media Director and cineSpace targeting consumer electronics manufacturers, content creators/directors, Hollywood studios and production facilities
• Conduct market research and strategic analysis of opportunities, requirements, and competitive landscape
• Collaborate across departments to educate and align marketing programs at early stages; work closely with sales and product development teams to help shape strategy and manage schedules
• Closely manage Partner Marketing, Sales Support, Tradeshows/Events, Digital, PR, Training and Creative programs across multiple verticals
• Drive co-marketing programs with licensees and partners
• Manage tradeshow program for at least four shows a year
• Lead pre-show planning meetings, internal show manuals & booth staff training
• Create show plans, coordinate logistics, calendars, budgets and post-show reports
• Perform as main contact with exhibit house and show vendors
• Generate ideas for pre-show and post-show marketing
• Manage collateral development, vendors, and inventory
• Manage branding, police style guide, logo library, identity
• Develop/maintain THX trailer production/distribution
• Catalog THX video content - B-roll, interviews, licensee content
• Work with internal team and web agency to develop Partner Portal
• Build and maintain customer acquisition model, develop direct and e-mail campaigns
• Manage customer and consumer database
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of 5 years of product marketing or partner marketing experience in consumer electronics, technology and/or entertainment business
• Strong writer, presenter (internal), communicator and an emerging leader
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience working with ingredient brands or consumer electronics companies e.g., Dolby, DivX, SRS, DTS, Intel, Qualcomm, Broadcom, Samsung
• Must be an incredibly organized team player with a positive, fun, diplomatic and engaging personality – you get things done and everyone likes you
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and execute multiple projects at once
• Passion for technology, movies, gadgets and a desire to transform entertainment experiences
• Requires some travel – domestic and international
