Interface Developer
· Meets with stakeholders to gather and document interface and reporting requirements.
· Solicits, facilitates and updates requirements documents during business requirement gathering to address system requirements in relation to existing systems or small to medium size projects.
· Supports the collection, integration and transformation of large volumes of data, with data structures ranging from simple to highly complex.
· Designs and develops system interfaces using the Pervasive Data Junction/Integrator application and interface tools, secure FTP, and other mechanisms.
· Maintains interface code and documentation. Installs and configures software tools necessary to code and execute applications and reports.
· Coordinates and tests interface code. Documents results and issues from testing and communicates to stakeholders.
· Creates procedures for scheduling of processes and data flows.
· Assists with the product upgrade of Pervasive Data Integrator and documents plan for migration of all current application interfaces. Researches new features and details options for technology improvements.
· Maintain version control system with baseline set of code and documentation of customized software, interfaces and reports.
· Creates unit testing plans and test scripts and thoroughly tests all software, interfaces and systems
· Documents all operational and functional information necessary for deployment.
· Provides technical application support for all custom and package application modules and interfaces in a production environment and during enhancement and upgrade projects as assigned and/or on a rotating basis.
· Reports, tracks and communicates status and issues, based on departmental defined reporting templates.
. Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related area.
· 2 -5 years of progressively responsible work experience is required including one to two years help desk experience.
