CIBER is searching for a senior technical resource with proven skills supporting large, complex, SAP data migrations. The ideal resource must be a US Citizen. Experience working in the Aerospace and Defense Industry is strongly desired. This person should have proven skills and experience supporting United States Government sector applications. This person will have a key role supporting our established SAP Practice-with the first assignment located in Milwaukie, Oregon. This is a strategic CIBER practice level position. Ability to travel is an important consideration to this position. This person will support future national demand at the practice level-including periodic trips to Europe.
Significant SAP industry experience is a must, along with proven skills in data mapping and creating data load programs in (LSMW)-Legacy System Migration Workbench. Must be able to complete data loads and support project based activities such as cutover planning. The ideal resource will have experience with the migration process to drive data streams and have application experience in SAP MM/PP or SD to support the data mapping activities. Clearly, experience with LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) is required, along with the ability to upload changes. Skills in MS Spreadsheets (Excel) and Databases are necessary to help the non technical business team members with transformation and enhancement in these tools. Proven customer service skills along with solid interpersonal and documentation skills are required.
Required Skills:
• Must be able to coordinate data mapping.
• Must be able to create data load programs.
• Must be able to complete data loads and support activities such as cutover planning.
• Must have hands on experience with the data migration process.
• Must have application experience in MM/PP or SD to support the data mapping activities.
• Must have experience with LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) and be able to upload changes.
• Must be skilled in MS Spreadsheet/Database to help the business with transformation and enhancement in these tools.
• Prior experience in Aerospace & Defense is strongly desired.
• Discrete Manufacturing experience strongly desired.
• Candidates must be US Citizens (no dual citizenship) - Your first project will be for a defense sector client.
• Must have experience working on small fast pace project teams.
• Must have excellent communication skills, strong business experience, and outstanding end-user interaction.
• Must be able and willing to travel extensively - including periodic trips to Europe.
