Department Overview
Enterprise Marketing´s role is to shorten the sales cycle – plain and simple. We make it easier for employees, partners and customers to understand what products and services we have. We´re responsible for much of what the customer sees and hears about Symantec. Responsibilities
• Own outbound responsibilities for our Virtualization-based product (ApplicationHA)
• Successfully engage with product management, sales, corporate marketing, sales enablement, channel and other cross-functional teams to define and execute go-to-market strategies that drive revenue growth, market leadership and awareness
• Capture and communicate insights into virtualization buyers by interviewing them to understand their critical unmet problems and buying criteria
• Develop compelling virtualization focused content and messages for target buyers based on deep insights into target personas (including technical audiences)
• Guide creation of virtualization focused messaging, campaigns, and asset maps that accurately target buyers' concerns and priorities
• Develop and deliver persuasive presentations including executive briefings, analyst briefings, press briefings, industry events, webcasts, and trade shows.
• Plan and manage fully-integrated solution/product launches
• Contribute to partner and channel enablement, training strategy and content delivery
• Work with demand generation and field marketing teams on program strategy and content creation for conferences, trade shows, webcasts, and field events
• Build positive relationships with industry analysts. Create content for analyst briefings and inquiry calls
• Global travel required

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, MBA preferred
• 3-5 years experience with product marketing and/or product management in software preferred, but not required. Atypical experience like consulting or banking is welcome.
• Strong ability to determine, communicate and evangelize strategies and vision
• Ability to multi-task and drive to completion a diverse number of issues
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong business/financial skills and hands-on customer experience
• Proven experience driving large initiatives with corporate customers
• Demonstrated business judgment, leadership and creative problem solving
• Technical understanding of computer software
