Project Manager
6-9 Month Contract
San Jose, CA

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Work independently to drive forward assigned project(s)
• Quickly ramp up on business processes
• Manage definition of project scope
• Create and execute project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and
requirements of the project and business that account for interdependencies, user adoption, optimal resource allocation and risk management
• Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
• Manage implementation costs
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
• Manage project escalations
• Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
• Effectively apply our project methodology and enforces project standards
• Effectively partner with our IT team to implement tool
• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
• Minimize our exposure and risk on project by identifying risks and defining risk mitigation plans
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
• Represent the project through the PMO governance process (PLC gates)
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and management

Requirements:

• Ability to work with people of all levels of Staffing, IT, University Connection, and other cross
functional organizations to drive the project
• Experience with Microsoft Project, and other Office tools including Visio is required
• Demonstrated project management knowledge and expertise; developing and implementing
system solutions.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude to co-develop technology solutions to meet business
requirements
• Experience in working for a multi-national or global company; having cultural awareness and
sensitivity
• Strong influencing and written/oral communication ability
• Experience with staffing and experience with university hiring process strongly desired.
