Apple´s App Store is the world´s largest and most innovative software store, serving tens of millions of iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad customers. The App Store team is seeking a dynamic and seasoned individual to serve as its Partner Marketing Manager for the App Store and the Mac App Store.
The candidate will be the primary person responsible to develop and drive partner marketing programs with third parties worldwide.
The ideal candidate must have extensive business development experience and a successful record of identifying, negotiating and managing marketing partnership deals with major brand partners. You must have the creative insight to seek out innovative partners that will align with our strategy and brand to continue to build the App Store audience worldwide. You must have a strong passion for mobile and desktop apps.
Educational:
· BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or related field; MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
Work Experience:
· Minimum 10 years experience in business development and marketing partnerships.
· Exceptional knowledge of relevant mobile and distribution technologies pertinent to driving successful marketing campaigns and strategies.
· Strong understanding of direct-to-consumer business and consumer behavior.
· Excellent presentation skills and exceptional attention to detail.
· Strong knowledge of competitive and 3rd party products and competitor strategy.
Technical:
· Strong project management skills and fluency with Excel and Keynote.
· Strong understand of mobile app technology.
Personal:
· Outstanding communication and time-management skills.
· Strong ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment to achieve goals.
· Results driven, analytical, energetic and focused with a strong desire to learn and succeed.
