Responsibilities
The responsibility of the Director of Marketing Programs is developing, executing, managing and refining marketing programs that will enable Jamcracker to succeed in its core markets. Secondly, he/she will be responsible for maintaining and updating content related to Jamcracker's website, collateral, case studies, presentations and other materials to support the lead generation activities.
The position will be measured on both quantitative measures, including lead generation quantity and quality, as well as qualitative measure such as content, creativity, leadership and impact. This position has global responsibility and will provide an opportunity for career growth with ever-increasing responsibility.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Campaign targeting and messaging.
• Demand generation (corporate and product based), including but not limited to email marketing campaigns, webinars, website SEO, SEM, social marketing, events, demand oriented advertising and other approaches.
• Customer and partner communications via newsletters, etc.
• Coordinating with Jamcracker's cloud solution providers to identify best-practices demand generation programs that can enable Jamcracker's distribution partners to be more effective in their own sales and marketing activities.
In addition, the position will support new product releases and other corporate marketing initiatives including:
• Working with product management to drive product launches and collateral development.
• Website content management.
• Segment specific and customer reference programs.
Criteria
• 10 years+ high technology marketing experience; proven successes within well-managed and successful environments, with a minimum of 3-5 years of each of the following areas:.
o Content development – must have excellent writing and communication skills.
o Channel marketing and demand generation programs.
o Event marketing, direct mail, direct response advertising, direct-email and online marketing.
o Leadership in managing cross-functional project teams as well as direct reports.
• Experience with B2B marketing of business applications and/or infrastructure software (any Cloud Services experience is a plus).
• Able to drive tactics, yet stay focused on the end-game and provide overall leadership.
• Working with sales to measure / monitor lead quality and adjust demand-generation programs based on their feedback.
• Energetic, hard working and driven by the desire to succeed.
• Proven ability to define and execute demand generation programs beginning from targeting and goals, and ending with high quality lead generation
• Product and technology savvy, yet market and solution messaging oriented.
• Proven ability to translate product messaging and value to segment specific value propositions
• BA/BS or equivalent desired
