Our client is a growing company working with fascinating technology in a booming industry. Continued controlled growth has created the need for a marketing communications copywriter to join our expanding in-house marketing team. The ideal copy writing candidate, having a 4-year college degree, will bring both experience and passion to work in developing content and copywriting for effective sales and marketing material that will clearly communicate our company's and products' benefits to internal and external audiences - including sales staff, sign dealers, and end users.
 
Working under the direction of the Marketing Director, the Marketing Copy Manager will plan/develop marketing copy and manage content for our company's marketing activities.
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
This critical new copy writer staff member will be responsible for a broad range of duties including:
Develops and writes a wide variety of communications copy for marketing programs including print, internet, social media, direct mail, white paper, byline articles, webinars, podcasts, newsletters and email.
 
Works closely with internal business thought leaders to develop content ideas, create outlines, conduct interviews, and write copy for marketing communications programs.
Supports marketing team in the development, creation and execution of outbound communications.
Supports sales, including writing sales letters, telephone scripts and compelling PowerPoint copy.
Performs a variety of tasks that are required to grow an effective in-house marketing team.
 
 
Required Education/Qualifications:
 
4-year degree in communications, public relations, English, business, marketing or similar field required, or demonstrated equivalent level of professionalism, critical thinking and communication abilities.
3+ years post-graduate full-time experience working on business-to-business marketing communications projects, content manager, copywriting STRONGLY preferred.
3+ years experience in a marketing environment preferred. 
Requires experience working independently and relying on own judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Requires proven writing skills as demonstrated in a formal portfolio.
Requires exceptional multi-tasking, self-starting, auto-direction skills.
Requires working knowledge of MS Office software.
Skills with SalesForce, PowerPoint, page layout software, social media and marketing automation tools preferred.
FULL permanent authorization to work in the US, without requiring sponsorship. Sorry, no H1B/OPT/CPT candidates.
