In this position, the individual will be responsible for technology & product evangelism. The individual will act as a product/technical expert outside the organization. Individual's primary responsibility includes working with Eco-system partners, platform architects & system designers to successfully design-in SanDisk SSD. Tasks include reference design bring-up, platform analysis; develop technical collateral, usage model analysis. The individual would also be required to work very closely with R&D team, CTO team & Standards team to port new features from parallel technology/standards into SSD. Some of the additional tasks involve holding design reviews at customer site; develop technology & product demos for trade-shows/conferences to demonstrate leadership position in the market.
This position requires a MSEE/MSCE degree or equivalent with 7 or more years of related experience. Some of the hard-skills: Deep knowledge of NAND Flash based storage solution. Prior experience working Standards group. Deep knowledge of Windows, x 86 systems. Strong knowledge of PC/Embedded client system. Technology savvy. Ability to translate concepts to new product features. Some of the soft-skills: Detailed oriented, highly analytical, ability to troubleshoot & analyze complex problems. Strong sense of ownership & customer focus. Self-motivated & self-directed. Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
