| In this position, the individual will be responsible for understanding the consumer mobile software and cloud services space and will define new products that extend SanDisk's portfolio of software and services into this space. The individual will be expected to "captain" a new product or family of products by guiding both internal and partner teams in collaboration to accomplish objectives in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities include ideation and out of the box thinking, market research, consumer research, financial models, business models, go to market plans, writing Market Requirements Documents (MRDs), and collaborating with designers to come up with user interface flows. Most of these responsibilities require coordination across cross-functional teams and product stakeholders. The individual is expected to be a technology enthusiast, highly motivated and have experience with team leadership. Identify key partners to best leverage technology and marketing opportunities to support the development. Understand mobile and cloud service industry needs and market trends, especially as they pertain to storage and competitive response. Participate in and/or initiate discussions with senior SanDisk executives to justify and recruit support for product and process goals. Be a key contributor to the division's management team and the future direction of the Software and Solutions group. This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience in Product marketing. The individual should be a master of their domain in everything related to the mobile industry, with a strong emphasis on cloud services, mobile & PC software, and content. Willingness, discipline and organizational capacity to manage a large funnel of product opportunities consisting of multiple media types. Ability to identify, negotiate, and manage strong Supplier partnerships and work in a fast-paced loosely structured environment. Excellent communication skills. Great attention to detail.
