SanDisk's Director of Digital Marketing is an experienced Web professional who understands and has a successful track record of applying modern strategies and technologies that will help transform SanDisk's current Web universe into a highly effective system supporting the company's B2B, B2C and corporate activities. This highly visible position reports to the Senior Director of Corporate Communications with responsibility of strategy and plan co-development, vendor selection and management, and implementation that will result in a "world class" Web environment for SanDisk. The Director will also oversee all budgets and vendors pertaining to the Website.
The individual will routinely interface with and continually access the needs of senior SanDisk executives in all functional categories, including management, product marketing, sales, IT, communications, branding, creative development and investor relations. The Director will offer his/her experience in the fields of analytics, marketing automation, SEO, SEM, and platform development to help formulate new approaches that will improve the user experience, provide actionable intelligence to business unit leaders, connect Web programs to the sales cycle, and improve overall ROI while streamlining the content creation process. The individual will also demonstrate adept personnel management skills via hands-on leadership, mentoring and ongoing assessment of the Web organization, and introduce new skills to the group to meet measurable objectives.
This position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 8-10 experience in a relevant position. The individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have also demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member. In addition, the individual must have the abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams, coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
