 PR Contractor - On-site
 
 New opening for a seasoned PR contractor for the next several months. The person will help our small in-house PR team manage a heavy workload over the next several months.
 
 Dutiies: 
 Participate in PR planning for new and ongoing activities
 
 Write press releases on technical topics, products, technologies or security or networking intelligence from information gathered directly from product managers or customers without the benefit of other written information
 
 Edit press releases secured from international agencies for clarity and impact
 
 Manage rollouts and press initiatives by arranging and preparing spokespeople for press interviews, finalizing materials and creating additional digital assets
 
 Manage press interviews on various topics
 
 Develop contributed articles for use by our PR agencies around the world
 
 Help support requests from our PR agencies or international marketing team
 
 Skills:
 8+ years of high-tech PR experience
 
 Able to work on site, 7 hours per day, 3 days per week
 
 Strong technical apptitude to understand the benefits and implications of various products and technologies and how they work
 
 Excellent writing skills for press releases, email interviews, backgrounders, contributed articles, etc.
 
 Strong editing skills
 
 Background in networking or Web security
 
 Experience with international PR
