At PlumChoice data makes a difference. We are seeking an energetic and dynamic business intelligence developer to join our BI team. As part of the team, you will directly contribute to the development of enterprise-scale data warehousing, business intelligence and analytic solutions. You will help find the signals in the noise of large data volumes, directly impacting the success of our growing company.
Responsibilities:
• Design, code and unit test BI applications for the company*s growing portfolio of products and solutions.
• Work with product managers, business analysts and external customers on devising and developing business, functional and technical requirements.
• Maintain and enhance the existing code base.
• Conduct multiple levels of testing including unit, system, integration and performance.
• Provide engineering estimates.
Qualifications:
• Proven track record in developing enterprise-scale BI applications, ideally using the Microsoft BI stack.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Strong knowledge of ETL and experience with an ETL tool such as SSIS, Informatica, etc.
• Experience with reporting solutions such as SSRS.
• Experience designing large scale analytical databases across multiple operating systems (Microsoft and Linux).
• Experience working with multi-terabyte data sets.
• Working knowledge of all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with an agile methodologies.
• Proven individual contributor skills and Strong organizational and project management skills.
Preferred:
• Experience with MDX, PowerPivot and OLAP cubes a plus.
• Knowledge of programming language such as Python, C# or Java a plus.
Education:
• BS or BA (or equivalent) in computer science or other engineering discipline, or equivalent BI experience.
