In this position, the individual will act as the SD Product Line Manager in one of the relevant core teams. The individual will be responsible to drive SD products to ACT, solve system issues, define and drive qual plans. Directs the activities of an integrated hardware/software systems design function. Designs and develops electronic, electro-mechanical equipment or systems-oriented products, and prepares related installation, operation, and maintenance specifications and instructions. Conducts feasibility studies on engineering proposals and related technical data for assigning new equipment or modifying existing equipment. Collects operational data and prepares customer application information. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
This position requires a MS/MBA/MA degree or equivalent with 12 or more years of related experience and 8 or more years of direct management experience. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of division/business unit strategic objectives and goals. Excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and limited resource environment. Dynamic, motivated, and results oriented creative thinker.
