In this position, the individual will be responsible for interfacing with Sales to establish SanDisk as a best-in-class vendor by improving delivery predictability, reducing WOS, and increasing In-Stocks, which all involve partnering and influencing other organizations such as Sales, Marketing, Order Management, Inventory, and Operations Planning to embrace the consensus forecast and the established processes, to enhance existing processes, and to implement new systems. The individual will be responsible for scorecard management by tracking the performance of SanDisk with our major customers including OOS rates, performance to shipment measurements, and inventory levels, as well as analytics through forecast development, tracking, and analysis.
This position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 7 or more years of related experience in a retail environment and experience running CPFR programs for an electronics manufacturer with top electronics retailers and mass-merchandisers. The ideal individual must have proven ability to forecast using collaborative methods following the CPFR approach, execute by supporting Sales Operations and Demand Planning to ensure customers receive required product to boost sales and support overall, and to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have also demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. In addition, the individual must have the abilities to work effectively cross-functionally, coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required, as well as selling/negotiations skills and willingness to travel domestically.
