Senior Software Engineer - Web
PlumChoice is seeking an energetic and dynamic developer to join its web development team. As part of the team, this individual will contribute to the development of enterprise-scale customer-facing and internal portal web applications.
• Proven track record in developing enterprise-scale web applications, specifically in the areas of content management, e-Commerce and workflow automation
• Working knowledge of all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• 5+ years of progressive software engineering experience using Core Java
• Experience with Java-based web application development frameworks (Struts, Spring, Servlets/JSP)
• Working knowledge of Web technologies – DHTML/JavaScript/AJAX/PHP
• Expertise with XML technologies (XMLSchemas/XPath)
• Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Design and Development
• Experience with relational database technologies (ideally Microsoft SQL Server) and Object Relational Mapping technologies (Hibernate)
• Experience with an agile methodologies
Good to have skills
• JSR168/268 Portals is a plus.
• LifeRay is a big plus
• Experience with Service Oriented Architectures; SOAP and RESTful Web Services
Education:
• BS or BA (or equivalent) in computer science or other engineering discipline.
