Seeking functional project implementation systems delivery analyst (DA) to fill exciting opportunity within Talent Domain Projects team. Our Talent Domain is comprised Compensation, Learning, and Performance Management Administration and is a rapidly growing portion of our business. This role will be primarily responsible for the implementation of new clients and large scale change requests within Performance Management.The DA is responsible for functional support and end-to-end systems implementation delivery. The DA supports or leads full life-cycle implementation delivery including; requirements gathering, process design, system configuration, testing, and standard operating procedure (SOP) creation and knowledge transfer to the ongoing operations support team. This position involves heavy client interaction and vendor/IT management. The DA typically reports to the lead project implementation manager, but could lead small projects and Change Requests (CRs). The DA will identify and resolve issues through root cause analysis and then implement solutions.

Domain Knowledge
Educate associates and clients while serving as a subject matter expert for performance management
Provide input and support about best practices
Support, lead, or ensure the standardization of processes in accordance with Aon Hewitt best practices
Identify and implement ideas for improving the domain specific offer and methodologies
Provide feedback on new products, services and projects
Client Relationship Management
Supports or leads requirement sessions and user acceptance testing
Communicate effectively with the client and internal partners for analysis/resolution
Participate in meetings to discuss issues identified and impact on service delivery
Lead client interaction and facilitation on client touch-points
Project Management
Create detailed functional business requirement specifications
Create and execute system test scripts and use cases
Support or lead system testing and issue identification
Create process flows and SOPs
Primary liaison with technical systems analysts and responsible to ensure functional requirements are understand and developed per client specification
Identify downstream processes and impacts for projects
Provide status reports and communicate changes in process for project assignments
Assist in post-project Quality Assurance (QA), lessons learned, and knowledge management
Manage workload including ad-hoc project deliverables
Work with third-party providers (both Aon Hewitt partners and client partners) to ensure seamless process and system delivery
Identify issues; drive change for related improvements
Identify and resolve escalations or complex issues with strong emphasis to associated patterns, trends, and root cause analysis
Responsible for meeting aligned service level agreements
Determine when inquiries are beyond the scope of responsibilities of Hewitt and/or team and escalate as appropriate
Support the internal and external Change Request process, including scoping and costing
Responsible for team training
Assist with documentation and lead or support maintenance of release notes/training
Encourage application service delivery model by challenging requested custom functionality and offering alternative solutions
Qualifications

Formal Education & Certification
BA, BS in Business, or equivalent degree or work experience required
Knowledge & Experience
2+ years of work experience in performance management systems
Experience in full life-cycle project/implementation work
Ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple tasks
Demonstrated analytical skills, works independently with direction from senior team members
Familiarity with Six Sigma or quality improvement methodology
Basic understanding of client requirements
Ability to write client business requirement and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) document.
Ability to properly research and problem solve with various stakeholders changes to system or process
Demonstrated proficient communication skills
Understanding of project methodology
Knowledge and/or experience with a case management system
Basic domain-specific knowledge including best practices and delivery model desired
Knowledge of HP Quality Center a plus
Technical Skill
2+ years performance management systems experience
SuccessFactors experience preferred
Experience with Talent Domain Management Systems (CompLink, SumTotal, Saba, Taleo, Plateau, etc.) a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Knowledge and experience with tools such as; Advanced Query Tool (AQT) or Microsoft Access a plus
Aon Hewitt Technology Process Library (AHTPL) methodology/tools or other formal project management methodology tools
Work Conditions
Office work environment - Location: The Woodlands, TX. Virtual applicants will be considered.
Requires the ability to interact with others in multiple locations globally. This may require flexible hours
Occasional evening and weekend work to meet business needs
Frequent computer use at a workstation for extended periods of time
Participation in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
Travel, 15-50%
