In this position the ideal individual will have strong NAND flash and SSD system level testing experience. The individual must understand NAND flash architecture and be capable of performing NAND flash failure analysis on drive level. The individual should have the ability to analyze large amounts of data independently, perform statistical data-mining and write detailed reports and graphs with good presentation skills. Hands on testing experience on SSD test systems with multiple JBODs and drives are required. Excellent C, C++ and assembly language programming skills, and the ability to quickly write and debug utility programs (PMT, console manager, windows).
This position requires a BS or MS degree in EE or CS with 5+ years NAND flash product engineering background and 2+ years SSD or NAND storage system experience preferred. Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to work effectively cross-functionally. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
